Position Summary:
The College of Agricultural and Life Sciences and University of Idaho Extension invites applications for the role of Soil Stewards Farm Manager for a 4-month, seasonal appointment. This position is pivotal to the operation, management, and success of the 3-acre Soil Stewards Farm, a beacon of sustainable, regenerative, and organic agricultural practices located at the edge of the UI Moscow campus. Our farm not only produces high-quality organic food for Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) programs but also serves as a vital educational and research hub, supporting the Soil Steward Clubs efforts in food production and marketing, alongside facilitating research and extension activities.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in organic farming, sustainable agriculture, or a related field.- Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.- Commitment to sustainability, education, and community engagement.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in safely operating small farm machinery and implements.- Demonstrated ability to manage, inspire, and work collaboratively with diverse groups.- Relevant academic background (degree in agriculture, environmental science, or related field).

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:
- Ability to lift, carry and/or otherwise move 50 lbs
